Veteran Myrtle Beach Broadcaster Returns To Host Program on Q Rock Radio
This weekend marks the first time in 32 years Rock 102 radio personality J Patrick Milan* will be on Myrtle Beach radio. A successful media consultant in Minneapolis, MN, Milan will be flying in for a weekend air shift at his alma mater.
As part of the Rock 102 Radio reunion coming September 24-27, Internet radio station QRockRadio.com will feature one of the original Q Crew members of the famed Myrtle Beach radio station. You can join J Patrick live from 3-7 PM eastern time Friday June 12 and several times this weekend.
Log on to www.QRockRadio.com and be ready for several surprises, some of which we know about, and a few we will probably be glad we don't know about. Stop by the QRock Studios at Heroes Harbor, Broadway at the Beach and hang out with the Q Crew this weekend!
Currently, the Q Rock lineup includes Freakin' Deacon, Mixin' Dixon, John Van Pelt, Bob Chase, Bob Scarborough and Banana Jack Murphy.
The four day Reunion Weekend, scheduled September 24-27, 2009. will feature a concert, golf tournament and other activiites. Radio announcers, newscasters, sportscasters, sales reps, practically anyone who ever walked the halls at Grand Strand Broadcasting between 1973 and 1997 will be taking part in this reunion.
The Rock 102 Reunion Weekend will benefit South by Southeast, a non-profit/charitable organization formed in 2003 by music lovers and educators. South by Southeast's mission is to provide assistance and support to local music education programs. The group helps offset some of the costs associated with the musical education of young people in our area.

The management of WLSC is excited to announce the launch of a brand new internet radio project. My Gospel Station.com will debut July 1, 2009. This new internet radio station will feature gospel programming 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Would you like to help?
First of all, pray for our success. Next, tell all of your friends. Call them. Send an e-mail. Do you use Twitter, Facebook or MySpace? If so, help us spread the word!
There's also an opportunity to host your own program on My Gospel Station.com. Regardless of whether your ministry is musical or the spoken word, we welcome your involvement.
"Singin', Preachin', Prayin' 24/7" is our motto heading towards our start date of July 1st. We have created a tremendous opportunity for those wishing to expand their ministry. We need 30 charter members to break even on the costs associated with starting and operating My Gospel Station.com.
Here's How it Works - For one year, your program ( 55 minutes in length) will air on My Gospel Station.com once per week between 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Sunday through Saturday. You'll also receive a bonus airing per week between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM Sunday through Saturday. (Your bonus program must air on a seperate day.) Time slots are on a first come. first serve basis. Your program airs twice a week, every week for only $100 per month. Total Committment: $100 per month X 12 months.....Only 1200.00. As an Introductory offer, Save $200 by paying in advance for one year....Only 1000.00.
We're also needing advertisers to help us defray the costs of operating an internet radio station. As a charter advertiser, your business will receive 3 thirty second commercials every day, every month for only $50 per month. Total Committment: $50 per month X 12 months...Only 600.00. As an Introductory offer, Save $100 by paying in advance for one year....Only 500.00.
